Forming a local party: how?
As a new member of the party, I am very interested in forming a local party in my area. As far as I am aware there is no local Liberal Party in Shropshire (although I would love to be proved wrong!). How do I start one, and what are the rules and regulations etc? Thanks! John

A branch, you mean? I'm not sure but a good place to start would be to get in touch with the party leadership.

Help available
You can always call me if you need help with setting up a local branch. I am a Liberal Party National Executive Member still, so if you need any help let me know. The best advice is to gather 2 others together with you, to form a membership: a chairman, secretary and Treasurer. Each could join for as little at £5 each. Anyway, need any help let me know. We could start with a press release on a local issue, and a local leaflet. Karl-James Langford Liberal Party Wales
