Merging categories
As it is now about 7 weeks since the local elections, I'm just about to abolish the Local Elections 2008 category and transfer all the discussion threads from there into the general section for "Elections". Unless anyone objects, that is?

So long as we keep all the data on this site, threads and discussions, then we can be transparent and refer back. Thanks, Karl-James

Seems a perfectly sensible thing to do.

OK - I've done that now. To help people refer back, as Karl-James says, I've attached the label (May 1st 2008) to each of the threads from that section before moving it to the Elections category. And I've now deleted the empty category which formerly held the Local Elections 2008 threads.
