New Libertas
It would be great if we could get somthing in to promote the party. Run it past Steve Radford , Party President , first though ! Dear all, The next issue of New Libertas is under preparation and should be ready by the next Congress in Barcelona. In this context, the New Libertas Board of Editors is announcing an open call for articles. Everyone is invited to contribute with an article or short opinion-piece of maximum 3500 characters (including spaces): we should have room for 2 articles on the the theme of the issue (Kosovo independence) and 3 off-topic articles. The 5 best articles selected by the Board of Editors will be published in the paper version, but all articles received will be published on the LYMEC blog, so go ahead! All submissions need to be sent by March 28th to newlibertas@lymec.org Best wishes, Aloys Rigaut Chief-editor of New Libertas http://www.newlibertas.eu

Nice posting, Bill! I'd never heard of New Libertas before, but it says on their website that it is a "magazine by young liberals, for young Europeans", and that it is a publication of European Liberal Youth. It also has a discussion forum attached. Some of the posters on the forum are also familiar figures on the forum of this website: http://www.ldys.org.uk (Liberal Democrat Youth and Students)

Since the Lib Dem Youth and Students movement is part of LYMEC it's hardly surprising that there are a lot of posters in common. LYMEC being the European Liberal Youth associated with the European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party (ELDR), of which the Liberal Democrats are a proud member. ELDR is part of the ALDE (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) voting bloc, the leader of which is presently Graham Watson MEP, Lib Dem.
