The Peterborough Liberals have put a mini-manifesto for the local elections up on their website: http://www.peterboroughliberals.org.uk/page6.html The Liberal Party currently has three councillors in Peterborough and is standing four candidates in the elections today. The BBC website has just announced that the Conservatives have retained control in Peterborough, but there are no details results up yet about seats won/lost.

Peterborough Council's website has the detailed results up now. The Liberal Party's Cllr Adrian Miners has held his seat with a huge majority. :D Dogsthorpe ward: Adrian James Miners The Liberal Party 1356 Linzer Kaur Sidhu The Conservative Party Candidate 222 Nicola Rodgers Green Party 81 Ronald Clifford Graves The Labour Party Candidate 187 None of the other three Liberal candidates came close to winning, but the result in Paston ward (Susan Lovelock) was very respectable. http://www.peterborough.gov.uk/page-14413

The LibDems lost one of their seats in Peterborough, cutting their representation to three. That means that we now have as many councillors there as they do.
