Wyre Forest Elections (1st May 2008)
The Liberal Group on Wyre Forest District Council, led by Fran Oborski, has seven councillors, making it the largest group in the country. There are six candidates standing there this time: Cllr Graham Ballinger, Greenhill ward Cllr Fran Oborski, Offmore Comberton ward Shazu Miah, Broadwaters ward Alane Harvey, Franche ward Iain Price, Areley Kings ward Alex Harvey, Wribbenhall ward (source: http://www.wfl.motime.com/ ) The Liberals are the third strongest group on the council, after the Tories and Health Concern, but well ahead of the LibDems and Labour.
